This stuff is comical in the extreme. There is nothing, aboslutely nothing, preventing a terrorist from bringing down an aircraft or many simultaneously by simply having a number of these cretin's drive past the ends of the runways at a lot of major Urban airports and use something like an RPG to get the belly of the thngs as they fly overhead on take-off.

Have you seen any road closures to those very common highwys or secondary roads that commonly transit near the very end of runways at many airports? NOPE!. Have you ever seen TSA or even local cops patrolling those roads in greater frequency than the norm? NOPE!

A lot of cities have highrise buildings within a LAW missile range; TSA on the roofs of them? NOPE!

TSA are simply a feel-good panacea to create the illusion flying is being made safer by your friendly government. NOT!

You've sacrificed a valuable tenet of the constitution to nothing more than a job creation boon-doggle that does absolutely nothing to ensure the safety of the flying public; nothing whatsoever!

Just Rep'ed ya, BruSan! excellent post...

TSA is demoralizing us and being used to show us, as a populace that as more tyranny comes we had best jump when they snap their fingers, bendover in obedience as they order us, and be humiliated anytime they wish.

GOOD GRIEF....a patient with a colostomy bag had the stuff put onto their clothes and all kinds of horrible things have been done. Innocent, young kids after being told to never let ANYone touch them where their swimsuit touches them, are not routinely and at some stranger's discretion touched there.

The day Americans submitted to radiation nudie scans and gropings of their five year olds and grandmothers by federal agents because they had a 1 in 30 million chance of being killed by a terrorist was the day I lost complete faith in the United States and the sustainability of the liberties on which it was founded.

None of the news articles say but it's a safe bet it was put in a back room with all the other confiscated food for the TSA agents to eat on their breaks.

Apparently, a TSA workeer confiscated a cup cake.

To all those who complain....why exactly are you complaining that they are doing a good and thorough job? You act as if an 85 year old women could not be a terrorist or that an adult terrorist would never hide a weapon on a child? Like a terrorist absolutely could not hide a chemical agent in a cup cake or other pastry.

If all this complaining leads to a draw back on how the TSA operates, it will lead to them being more lax and create a weakness amongst airport security. Think about it, if you were one of these terrorists, where would you hide a weapon? Hmmmmm..... they will never suspect a child or an elderly women would be concealing any weapons, so lets try that!

sooooooooooooo, when is the TSA going to start profiling and start looking specifically at middle eastern males between the ages of 18 & 45?

that is the most dangerous group, lets start with them and not some CMH winner wearing his uniform.
