If Bill Clinton Could Run For A Third Term In 2012, Would Democrat Voters Bail On Obama?

What about Independents?

I believe he could, legally.

It is just two 'consecutive' terms that presidents are limited to.

He was a good president, but, I wouldn't vote for him again.

I am Indepedent but lean Republican, but I would definitely vote for Bill Clinton again if given the chance. He really was one of the greatest Presidents of the 20th century.

Dem here.

Bill Clinton = one of the greatest presidents of the 20th century.

But no, 8 years of Clinton is enough. Only Republicans seem to want presidents to rule for life...and when they get old, they want the "next in line" or the son to take over (think Bush 1 and his son Dumbya Bush, the Village Idiot from Texas.)

America is not North Korea or Iran, nor are we a monarchy where one family or ruler rules for life. Only conservatives support such nonsense.

Independents loved Clinton. It was Monica that ruined his legacy in his second term.

If he did, and the election was between Clinton and Romney, I'd vote for Clinton any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Clinton was the last President who really had the common people's best interests in mind.
