Why is it that the candidates who run on the 'family values' slate always end up having the worst moral compass?

"Santorum, who has cultivated an image as a clean-cut social conservative trumpeting family values, nominated Sandusky for a “Congressional Angels in Adoption Award,” after Sandusky had already been accused of at least five cases of child molestation."

Santorum's nomination was in 2002, long before there was any public knowledge about Sandusky.

ROFLMAO...Not suprised at all!

It's like everything in life...The loudest, most obnoxious idiot, i.e. Republicans, are usually the last person you EVER want to listen to. There is usually a reason why they are so loud and OBNOXIOUS!

Like working out at the gym...The dork in Zubaz pants always trying to tell you how to do things is probably the last guy you want to listen to. The Republicans are the dorks in Zubaz pants...Sure they get the idiots that have never worked out standing around foaming at the mouth listening to their 'advice', but everybody else that has any clue dismisses that guy as a joke!

Prison Planet? Is this a joke? My tin foil hat got mxed up in my recent move. I read your source and it is extremely bias and obviously supports Ron Paul (even quoting "The Daily Paul"..lol!!!) And Sandusky wasn't charged with child molestaion in 2002, this just occurred recently. Either Santorum didn't know about the previous instances (that were never officially charged against Sandusky), or Santorum was doing the very American thing of assuming innocence before a conviction in a court of law. Either way, this whole article and post smells... Sorry...but try again.

I guess it would be the same as nominating Obama for the Nobel peace prize and him participating in two wars and then starting another, maybe!!

If Santorum nominated him now , then it would have some weight... nominating him then has no weight.
