I think the huge, previously hidden pro open marriage vote had a huge turnout. I think more voters, especially evangelicals, have private lives like Newt and Gov. Sanford. I know I do.

That was a surprise. Romney had a good lead until a few days ago. The debates helped Newt win this one.
That last "debate" where Newt tore into the media did more than most want to admit. He was the only one all through the "debate" season who continually tore into the MSM. The applause and cheering by those people when he did his thing told me that he would win, for sure.
You don't want your state buddy? I think you really do believe that Newt can't win in November but he will get to debate Obama and will make more use of his attacks on the MSM.
We shall see. In the end, voters will vote for the person most likely to best serve the United States as POTUS. They might actually vote for a POTUS who is pro America and not a globalist.
No one has ever won a second term with a Gallup approval rating below 52% or an ongoing war more than eight years and three months old, and no one since FDR has landed another go-round with unemployment over 7.2% the inflation adjusted price of gasoline over $2.60/gal, or a misery index over 11.25%.
This isn't vetting, which is done behind closed doors and ostensibly done in good faith, this is open warfare, and it is damaging to basically all of the candidates. Running tons of disingenuous attack ads against each other is not "vetting". The Republicans are eating themselves alive.
Just think of all the good practice at attack adds they are getting for when they have to answer Democrat attack adds.
