Congress, with its Republican obstructionist contingent, has been severely broken since Bush left office. Thanks Republicans. You have tainted the entire Congress with your petty crap, and the public is outraged more than you care to admit.

In all honesty, you can put the Obstructionist label just on Republicans. The Democrats are JUST as bad. If we could vote to wipe the slate clean in Washington I would do it without a hesitation.

We'll have a chance to see if this is really true in November.

It's humorous you are trying to pin this on the GOP especially considering the election a year ago, it wasn't Republicans being shown the door.

It is a sure bet that the majority of reps that are running will be returned. Take A_ Lexus as an example, if both her reps are {D}s would he/she vote them out? Or how about he/ she picking a 3rd party if on the ballot? Get it? the partisans will not show their reps the door, and reps 90% of the time return to their seats. Democracy is very simplistic and predictable.

Vote them out and replace them with people you will hate just as much after a few months.

Have any of you geniuses stopped to think that maybe its the system, not the people?

The obstructionist is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. And yes, the public is outraged, as well they should. Today the Senate refused yet another bill passed by the house to stop Obama from putting our nation yet further into debt.

The US Senate under the leadership of Sen. Harry Reid has not passed a budget in 1002 days!

Wow. Deja Vu for the only the 40th+ time in 40+ years. It's not like we haven't heard this before, yet strangely, the same people keep getting re-elected.

If you search C-D, I think you'll find way back in 2007 someone started a thread on an opinion survey that showed everybody wanted to vote everyone out, except their representatives.

And that explains why people saying "Vote the bums out" but keep re-electing them.

Not voting...
