I don't know what the parents are doing. I can only speak for myself, and for God.

You claim to speak for God, but you don't know anyone is doing. Yeah, ok.

That's not for you to decide. The spirit that resides in the shell is more precious.

I wonder if charging the parents, whose daughter died, while they prayed instead of seeking medical help, also had their religious freedom violated?

Have you read the rest of my posts on this thread? I don't have a problem with this - at least not on religious freedom grounds. I'm simply correcting posters who suggest that the Catholic Church is preventing anyone from using birth control.

As far as what Romney did, that's completely different for two reasons - 1) it was a state issue, and 2) it was about providing the morning after pill to rape victims, which is completely different.

Postinor-2 is thought to work a number of different ways.
" Affecting sperm mobility (altering the cervical mucous making it more difficult for sperm to access the ovum)
" Preventing or delaying ovulation
" Preventing a fertilized ovum from implanting in the uterus.

That would make it an abortifacient.
Preventing a fertilized egg from implanting on the uterine wall is NOT the same as aborting a fetus.

Since you are so adamantly against abortion, you should be thrilled about birth control being made more available.

This.

There's nothing wrong with consensual poly relationships, and the government should not stop them.

I understand points about tax laws or whatnot, but there are some states that actually have laws against adultery.

In my mind, if the couple is of consenting age, no matter what the gender makeup, no matter how many are within the relationship, and no matter what the relation of the couple, the government should not legislate against it.

God doesn't care about religious freedom.
