]There is a wonderful quote that has been making its way around the internet over the past year. It apparently was translated from an article published in the Czech Republic newspaper Prager Zeitung last April and reads as ]follows
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency...Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."
Literal much? Yes, conservative women who want bc will actually go buy it.
Is this how liberal women think? If it isn't handed to them they'll have to get pregnant? That's the most simple minded logic I've ever... oh, wait... nm. It makes perfect sense now.
It's about a lot more than insurance covering The Pill. It's also about transvaginal sonograms, waiting periods, mandatory counseling and personhood bills.
Personhood bills that would effectively make the IUD and The Pill illegal, BTW.
Instead of focusing on the ecconomy, the GOP is focusing on women's reproductive rights.
Just about everyday, another Republican legislator introduces another bill concerning women and their personal reproductive choices instead of drafting legislation to deal with the economy, taxes, energy, education or immigration.
The GOP's priorities are way out of whack and liberal women are smart enough to see it and smart enough to vote accordingly. Too bad for the GOP.
In reality, the pubs are chasing women away with pitchforks. Obama will benefit even by doing nothing, as women will flee the GOP in large numbers.
Don't be ridiculous.
The group hit hardest by Obama's depression is men.
Do you really think after more than three years of failed economic policy by the FDR wannabe women aren't tired of supporting their unemployed husbands and boyfriends?
In 2012, look for women to support a strong fiscal conservative and split on social issues.
Yea, a bit. You cannot claim though that the interest level between male and female sports is anywhere close to equivalent. Media shows what people want to watch.
Yeah because conservative women don't want birth control. Nope. Barefoot and pregnant was good enough for granny so it's good enough for them.
Just keep comparing women's rights advocates with Nazis. That'll win your side votes!
You missed the point, as could be expected.
Do you really think women are too stupid to realize they have choices beyond bare foot and pregnant or relying on others to pay for their contraceptives?
Where in your world are the women who are self-reliant?

"Instead of focusing on the ecconomy, the GOP is focusing on women's reproductive rights."
Yep.
It's a total diversion...
"The government policy would have forced such groups as church-affiliated schools, colleges and hospitals to cover birth control as part of their health plans. The White House backed off, saying that insurers instead of the institutions must pay for the coverage, but the issue has continued to simmer as it has been cast as an assault on women."

The Obama Administration is attempting to force religious institutions and practitioners to violate their conscience.
The Obama Administration seeks to regulate religion.
It's no more complicated than that.
Obama doesn't want to regulate religion. He just wants healthcare for everyone. And the church really needs to rethink their stance on birth control. Who can afford to have 10 kids these days. That was the norm when I grew up.
