I am posting this here---controversial. They call all the time, sometimes 2 or more times a day. And nothing can be done about it. Card holder services. I googled them and came up with a whole page of complaints.

Are they annoying you as much as they are others? Any ideas on shutting them down?

I have an idea. Answer their call, punch in the # to talk to them, feed them a whole line of baloney, and at the end, ask them, if they like their time being wasted. If that starts happening on every call they make, they will soon stop.

They have got to be getting CC numbers to keep calling everyone.

DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CC NUMBERS, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS OR ANY INFO ABOUT YOUR BANK OR ACCOUNTS TO ANYONE ON THE PHONE.

Read the complaints, all that has been done and it still doesn't stop.

Where is 60 minutes when you need them. Someone needs to run them down to see just who they are and where they are calling from. Maybe Nigeria. Who are they scamming and how much are they getting?

This person has a good idea-----

Call you telephone company and have them blocked. Or you can report them to the police, file a formal complaint and get a police report. Fax it to your telephone company and request for the caller's information. Then pursue lgal action. That's what I did, too.
And oh, by the way, I reported the phone number at Report Phone Number to CallerCenter.com. Gets them blacklisted by everyone else.

What can be done, if they're calling from a foreign country?

I don't know where they are calling from but if they are calling from a foreign country then they have bypassed the spam emails and have moved on to calls to our homes.

They may be with us forever. Yuck.

I am registered there and many who get the calls are as well.

You have never received them? Count yourself lucky.
