Of course the GOP could never get the votes. If you read the first post it says the GOP will have to take over the senate so he will no longer have any power.

The purpose of a CR is to temporarily keep the gov't operating while negotiations take place. It has been 3 years with no negotiations because of Reid. He should be impeached.

There is no excuse for this behavior. The democrats in the senate are the DO NOTHING CONGRESS that Obama keeps talking about.
Oh, what are these 'sound proposals?' Turning Medicare into a voucher system? Slashing nutritional programs? Raising the Social Security eligibility age? Lowering taxes, even more, on the wealthy?

The main point being, it's not impeachable behavior to not pass a budget and that's why no GOP leader is even proposing this silly idea.

Yes indeed. Three years too long, and way overdue.

You do understand the Senate is REQUIRED to submit it's own budget proposal.

Are you saying the Senator Majority Leader CANNOT be impeached for NOT obeying the Congressional budget rules?

Required by what and what's the stated penalty if they don't?

The fact that there aren't the votes to impeach makes the argument moot.

Anyone notice how the Left wing Liberal Nut cases are searching 'desperately' for an excuse to blame the Republicans and the House while 'conveniently' leaving out the fact that .. Those YEARS when the 'DIMS' controlled BOTH House and Senate .. They didn't bother with a budget either!?

Budget!?
"We don't Need No Stinkin Budget"!

(we're too busy 'buying' votes)
