It's unfortunate that at this late date, people don't know that Iraq did have WMD. Deployed against the Iranians, the Kurds,and unsuccessfuly against the Shiites. Don't you people watch PBS?

Chemical weapons are not weapons of mass destruction. They aren't long range. Iraq could have killed the same amount of people with conventional arms. Besides, we didn't even find chemical weapons during the invasion/occupation. We found nothing.
The GOP propaganda would be in full force to get even more insane spending, lives lost, and another war to keep bankrolling their fascist war machine if they ever got into power again, you betcha'

My position exactly. The hawks used up all their credit with me in Vietnam and Iraq. Credit card is all used up. No money and no trust left.
If Iran has a WMD, then too damn bad. Israel will just have to figure out how to live with that little factoid. But i won't support any intervention whatsoever.

With Iraq and A'stan winding down the military industrial complex needs new targets for their missiles. The process of selling this war has been in the works for years.
Just more nonsense and hobgoblins to justify our saiber-rattling in that part of the world. Defense contractors need contracts, companies need secured interests, serious domestic issues need distraction and Israel needs to keep eliminating its enemies throughout the world.
