That is the reason that religion has no place in making decisions of this nature. Guaranteed, Georgetown paid more for her surgery than they would have spent on contraceptives. My family has a history of endometriosis, and I had it when I was of childbearing age. Because of the adverse reactions I had to oral contraceptives, I chose to use an IUD. Doctors weren't treating endometriosis with hormonal therapy yet, and as a result I had an ectopic pregnancy and my left fallopian tube ruptured. Ever had one of your organs blow up? It's literally a killer. Keep other people's beliefs out of decisions made by females and their doctors, period. As the Georgetown incident shows, having clerics make decisions of that nature isn't wise.
And I believe that the insurance co was incorrect in not providing the medicine needed for a medical condition.

Thank you for playing.

No doubt LOL.

Come to think about it, insurance paid for the tubal ligation as well, no questions asked.

This is no game, it's an issue for discussion. I'll remember to take your posts as seriously as you take the health of half of the population.

Correct. Love the "evidence" part.

how much you want to bet if contraception was only for males, this would not be a problem.

The bill identification was provided in the first post. It's pretty easy to look up the actual bill text.

Yet again, your freedom and liberty is being held hostage by a third party.

When will we learn?

If you had bothered to even read or comprehend my [previous posts, you would see that I am ALL FOR issuing meds required for medical conditions. I made my comment, "Thank you for playing" because obviously the person I was replying to failed to notice my stance on this. If the medication is necessary for the treatment of a medical condition, then by all means, cover it.

As for the health of half the population, I do not ask that you concern yourself with MY health, I would hope that you do not ask that I concern myself with yours. While I wish no ill on anyone, my concerns are for my family's health. I do not earn a living for
