Actually, I think the issues that get opened up in these cases go beyond simple copyright issues. It could effect every user on the internet.
I also think that everbody should have due process. That is how this country is supposed to work.
Sure, but what is Googles main vested interest?? You would think the ISP's would worry more about how the end user is affected than Google.
Well I have plenty of issues with Google. Privacy and monopoly come to mind, but I think keeping things open is in their interest and in everyone else's.
We already have a ton of law to cover this. An information network is just that and if you attempt to be a control freak it will no longer function as one.
The ISP's are like Google in that they care about money. They are being subsidized and pushed from govt. They are also aware that if it is across the small services monopoly then people have nowhere to go.

And that is my biggest issue....Because whatever fascist law they want to push in regards to service, the ISP's are safe....there's just no competition.
