Just goes to show that zealous, wrong-headed racist idiots can be any color or nationality. Sheesh.
Very true. And to answer the previous question, no I'm not implying anything of the sort. I'm sure extremists of any nationality could use something like this to their advantage however.

Actually, it's not any extremists that are "behind" this superhighway it's the secret empire elite that care for nothing but $$.
That link about the mexcia movement is nothing new (we need to open our eyes and really see what's happening to us) there are many groups operating in this country and we WILL loose the southwest if we don't stop it!
Again, people we need to open our eyes and really see what's happening.

There's a whole bunch of well-funded white supremacist groups that have been operating in this country for decades and so far they haven't managed to take over very much. I really don't see fringe groups like this as a huge threat.
I can think of many bigger, more imminent and better entrenched "threats" to the American way of life (whatever the heck that is) than a bunch of yahoos with a crappy, hyperbolic website.
Has anyone found any articles on this topic from more "mainstream" and "commonly known" news sources, such as CNN, major television or newspaper websites (ex. ABC/NBC/CBS or Wall Street Journal, Washington Post)? I am interested and concerned about the building of this highway, as my husband and I are very interested in relocating to the KC area next year, but I find it odd that I was unable to find a single article on the superhighway in any of the news websites I frequent.

Mainstream media is generally not addressing the issue, though it came up on the Toronto Globe & Mail (which although it's a "mainstream" Canadian media newsource, it's pretty weak in international coverage, provincial, and its reporters exaggerate stories with overblown article titles too often that often prove unrelated to the facts cited in the articles they describe). Canadians are no more thrilled about it than we are. I learned about it originally on WorldNetDailydotcom, which is a conservative Christian oriented news outlet that might offend real liberal readers, or Newsmax, which I also like, though it is also very conservative. A google search will provide detailed sources of information as well.
