African Americans have been hurt by this recession more than whites and it has gotten worse for them economically, yet 83% of blacks approve of Obama's handling of the economy and they by a 2 to 1 margin feel that the country is on the right track.
Whites on the other hand, haven't been hurt as hard by the recession as a group, but feel that the country is on the wrong track by a more than 2 to 1 margin and only 32% of whites approve of Obama's handling of the economy.
Blacks approve of Obama's job performance by a 87% to 9% ratio. While whites had a 37% to 56% ratio with most disapproving of the president's job performance.
Interesting how the group that has been hurt the most by the recession is the most positive and approving of the situation.

The build up and sudden loss of Hispanic and black family wealth during the second Bush term was about the housing bubble, which was brought on by specific policies during the first Bush term to relax loan standards and create as many minority home owners as possible. It was a bipartisan disaster which State Senator Obama had little connection to.
Yeah, but blacks vote race, so it doesn't that he sucks.
Blacks do not want to vote against their best interest and there has not been a republican in the last 10-20 years that even ACTED like they were concerned so what is your point?

Firstly let me say this before I am attacked; I am African-American. Now I just want to say African-Americans generally don't know if their I'd a recession or not, because for many of us it's always an on-going recession or maybe even depression.
