Okay so I guess I'll be the first one to disagree and support being judgmental.

It's a free country, you have the right to any opinions you want.

I agree that everyone should be equal under the law. I disagree that everyone has to be, or even should be, equal to individuals. I support anyone's right to dislike anyone else for any reason whatsoever. That's part of being a freethinking autonomous being.

I doubt that there can be many "free" thinkers. Most people are bound to the conventional wisdom, which they accept without much question. In this I would distinguish "free" from "critical" thinkers; which, to my way of thinking, are an entirely different breed. And even more rare are "original" thinkers.

If we all spent less time judging and more time being compassionate, society would be much happier overall!

...which includes supporting people who dislike people, who dislike people for dumb reasons, correct?

I do intend to think of people who seem to be stupid, as stupid...until evidence shows otherwise, and of those who have behaved immorally, as immoral. I'm not fond of stereotypes though...but am fond of maintaining a long memory.

In nature animals constantly make assessments and judgments. Those who fail to do so are called food.

I hear you, but some judgment is necessary in order to define your boundaries.

I privately judge everyone and everything, it's how I make my choices in life.

We draw conclusions on limited information about people all the time. We can't always do a full background check and understand someone's life story to draw a conclusion. It happens sometimes where people are characterized unfairly and it also happens where people are given the benefit of the doubt. We simply can't have all the information.

The problem is when people are then closed to further information once they have made their judgement or if they use something like a person being a slob or drama queen to conclude that the person is less than worthy across the board. A slob might not be a good hire for a certain job, but they can still be a wonderful person.

That's very judgemental of you.

This is true. Ignorance is bliss after all.
