Oohhh... LINKS...I'm sure you keep a ton of bookmarks of links on every subject you have read just to regurgitate them as arguing points where you can make hand over fist statements like you did..

GO LEARN AND COME BACK!!!!! bwhahaahhaha

Listen, I have learned plenty on altruism and it's a false premise. Your own interests come FIRST. How can you share what you do not have?? In this case, logic.

There is no such thing as a moral... implying that altruism is innate, you are saying that there is such a thing as morals or that "right and wrong" is inherent and hardcoded into our DNA.

Good luck proving that. If you want to step out on that limb.....feel free to hang yourself.

I guess to ensure that there is such a thing as retirement, healthcare, and homeownership.

If those things were strictly determined by the market, we'd all be in a heap of trouble.

My liberal daughter from Cal points out that liberalism actually hurts Blacks the most precisely because it is contrary to Darwin's classical liberal beliefs on self-help and his opposition to slavery.

Blacks are losing in the social Darwinism arena because they are held back by liberal ideology. Welfare programs ensure a permanent underclass of Blacks.

Your tuition dollars (well, mine actually) at work.

Oh, social darwinism has been subverted!

Our society has been trained to view issues thru the eyes of the poverty cultured. As a preparation? Modern polemics is all about blurring the line between distinctions especially since the traditional moral compass has lost relevancy. Bush II & Obama dole out this sort of narcotizing thing sweetly and neither would have ever made it into such a supposedly high public office if senses weren't entranced by easy affluence supported by 'someone' else. The idea of self-responsibility has been tranquilized, eased with the vague knowledge that everyone else has let it go too and yet seem to be doing okay.

They will give you all-inclusive government HC- written by for-profit health industries.
You can own your own homes and then some- financed easily by indebted life-long mortgaged servitude to financial institutions 'regulated' by the Fed.
You can have a high-paying white-collar service-sector job- if after an expensive graduation they are available.
The rich must pay more just as you do- as smug righteousness fills your wallet in lieu of the money that used to.
Terrorists could strike at any minute- since the commies gave up and joined us... to brainwash Americans!
The middle-class is vanishing- since wealth can never be too diverse when made available to all.

Etcetera, etcetera...

Social darwinism was before dear Charlie ever sailed the southern seas, scribbling notes about our cousinly monkeys coveting bananas. Just let the new frosting steer you toward the granola train... greedily.

For those not paying attention, even Darwin himself rejected social Darwinism.

I agree with all... well said....

Especially the first paragraph. Said better than I could have ever imagined it.

Every election moving forward, the overt evidence mounts and the stipends become greater. It's still "not so bad" here. And that's good enough.

But the gap to Totalitarianism closes.
