Oh, okay. Since Taratova has never made this mistake, clearly NOBODY else ever could! Were you raised by your grandfather?

My mother calls me by my sister's name frequently, my father once called me my brother's name, and I've even called my sister "mom" by mistake once or twice. It happens, get over it. Clearly he knows who is who, and the attempts to paint this as a deliberate lie are pathetic... I mean, what would he gain by saying it was his father vs grandfather? If you're going to make this claim, at least explain to us WHY he'd deliberately make this switch.

And that's the way it is with Obama. Lots of mistakes, no lies.
Yeah, because no political figure has ever made a mistake while speaking live - NEVER. Would you like me to start quoting GW's many "misspeaks?" My personal favorite is the "fool me once" speech, LOL.

And no politician has ever lied either? Of course they have (on both sides), but there's a difference between a deliberate lie and a freakin' mistake.

Aren't all politicians basically actors? Or do you think the Bushes, Clinton, Nixon, etc, all wrote their own material? If so, you are being kinda naive.

He was 5 years old when WW II started, and less than 9 1/2 yrs old when it ended.

Lolo Soetoro (Obama's step father) Born: January 2,1935 Died: 3/2/87 at the age of 52.

He was 6 years old when WW II started, and 10 years old when it ended. He must have been the youngest Veteran in the war.
Do you have these same stats for his GRANDFATHER?? If not, I don't really get your point... since, as it was already discussed (and beaten to death) years ago, he clearly meant his grandfather - who was actually a WWII vet.

However, no shining star of that generation.

Is that what happens when your family in strung out all over the planet and you have no idea who they are?!
Obama's grandparents mostly raised him. His grandfather was the only father figure he ever had, and I'm sure the old man was called Daddy. I know several guys who grew up just like Obama, and the all called their grandfathers Dad. So do all the women I know who grew up in the same circumstances.

I will let you in on a little secret some grandchildren call their grandparents mom or dad. When I was a child, my mother and father worked, so before I was old enough to go to school, my maternal grandmother watched me til my parents got home.

Now, I was so close to my grandmother, that I called her and my mother "mom".

None of that changes the fact that Barry is a liar.

From 1939-1945 Kenya was a Crown colony of his Majesty King George VI so if any Kenyans fought it was under the Union Jack. For your information several hundred thousand troops were raised in British East Africa to serve in the forces of the British Empire. These troops saw combat in Burma, India and were used to libertate Ethiopia and Somalia from the Italians. Britain also used them to take the Vichy French island of Mauritius so it couldn't be used as a base of German or Japanese naval forces in the Indian Ocean. They were also used by Montgomery in the NorthAfrica campaign, and in fighting in Italy.
Some of britains African units participated in D-Day and were with the British 8th Army when it crossed the Rhine into Germany.
