Horrible tragedy. Society is full of nutjobs and people who go off the deep end. We will never get away from that in a free and open society

So much for that wonderful no gun within a 1000 ft of a school law. Oh yeah that's right only law abiding citizens follow laws.

Too many people simply do not know how to handle setbacks appropriately. What a shame. I wonder if the media stopped reporting breathlessly when these things happen if some of these shootings would diminish?

I suspect many of these killers want their 15 minutes of fame.

Horrific. Oakland is known for its high crime; but still...Prayers go out to all.

In an economic downturn as wide and deep as this one, i'm surprised that there haven't been more of these types of incidents.

I'm confident that it's partly due to the Trophy For Every Kid™ philosophy that society has adopted.

I'm pretty sure that President Obama, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson will ALL be speaking out on this...

Really? What is it that makes you think a bad economy makes people wanna kill? Most folks I know just wanna go to work and pay their bills.

Besides, from the initial reports the shooter was a Korean at a school founded by a Korean. Coincidence?
