How is THAT ignorant? If you have children and have to use welfare handouts, then you could not afford to have children.
Almost all welfare recipients are perfectly healthy, able-bodied and so are their children.
I think many of us are fine with welfare handouts going to citizens who are quadriplegiacs, or blind, or who have some condition that makes it physically impossible to get work.
i have yet to meet anyone that isn't.

One of my coworkers was on WIC a while back (after her lovely husband decided he wanted a 19 year old girlfriend and left them) when her son was young. She used to borrow her neighbors Mercedes to go grocery shopping because her hubby left with the car. I wonder how many people thought she was a freeloader?
It depends. Was she Mexican? Freeloader.
Was she black? 3rd generation freeloader.
Was she white? Well she was down on her luck, of course.
I think many conservatives actually have a pamphlet that describes these situations and how to react accordingly.

No, not really... if you're implying in your oh-so-clever way that the liberals here are on welfare and/or abusing the system, I think most of us have made it clear that's not the case. We just don't generally believe in demolishing social programs to punish the bad apples, which seems to be what most on the right desire.
i didn't chose to take on the responsibility of a child with a major disability - it was the hand i was dealt with. I'm sorry you consider me selfish because i accepted wic to pay for the food she needed through a stomach tube.
But many on welfare choose to have children they knowingly cannot afford. Apples and oranges. You're getting yourself worked up over nothing. I don't think anyone would hold it against you because your child was born with an unforseeable medical condition. Not having the means to provide for offspring but still choosing to have them is foreseeable.
I know all about chop shops. I'd never patronize one.
Hispanics, like everyone else, can own perfectly legitimate tax-paying businesses. I'm assuming the owner of this particular place made a ton of money off all the referrals I sent his way.
