"Congratulations. You get to live the amazing existence of having a specialized wheelchair to keep you from slipping to the floor. You get the most amazing cuisine delivered right into your body. No need to stop staring at that spot in the wall (you can't see anywise because you're blind) just to use the restroom! You have the joy of peeing and pooping into bags! Don't worry about working or having a mortgage, you don't even have the motor capacity to deal with that fly on your arm - let alone even feel that you have a fly on your arm."
What a life that must be.
So does everyone have to answer before us "normal people" to decide whether someone's life is worth living or not? I feel so very sorry for you, that you actually believe some people's lives are worthless. Totally sick and disgusting.

If I have no motor control and am pretty much braindead, I hope someone has the decency to euthanize me.
Would I say they're worthless? No. But I wouldn't even say they're alive at this point. When the only thing separating them from the grass on my lawn is genetic makeup, that ain't living.
I am a nurse to people like this. I find some of you guys comments offensive.
Camparing them to grass? Really?
Last time I checked grass didn't have heartbeats.

The liberals here said their lives are worthless, which is the most disgusting thing I've ever read on this board. I can't believe liberals try to pretend to be these quality of life experts about caring for the poor, yet actually think they have the moral capacity to determine the worth of other people's lives.

I would happily pull the plug m'self.

The decision should be left between the doctors and the family.
It's in my medical folder that if I'm brain-dead, incapable of basic bodily functions on my own, and have zero chance for recovery, I would like a nice, quick, and painless death. I don't want to be one of those people who are kept alive purely by machines for 5, 10, 15, 20+ years.
It's sad but that is not only destroying 2 people's lives it's destroying everyone around them.
