Why this topic is in P&OC is beyond me, it should be in the World forum since Africa isn't important enough or generate enough interest to merit it's own forum....
First of all, we weren't talking about nationality relative to why people should listen to someone else. Pay attention. You asked why he should be listened to, and i said that the same question could be asked about anyone...including you and I. Why should anyone listen to YOU?

I basically agreed with you about the whole Bishop thing, so you don't need to argue with me about that. But still, let's not pretend as if that's an inconsequential position. It isn't. It gives him carte blanche in certain circles and he's free to use it just like you and i would use any position we'd earned.

As for your whole "Africa isn't important" nonsense, you're wasting your time trying to get under my skin with that. I never said anything about the importance of Africa, and just because i'm black doesn't mean that your zinger is gonna hit me in the heart. It won't....trust me. I already know your style.

Besides, lots of important nations would disagree with that. And that's all i'll say about that topic.

Nobody is willing to deny the truth in that statement?

How do you boycotters have a leg to stand on, unless you totally ignore my statement above? You're burying your heads in the sand and spewing hatred, because you know there are many like-minded haters like yourself who will go along with anything that is against the Jews. Yes? Be courageous and admit it. I'll respect you more if you can just tell the truth (I would actually respect EVEN MORE if you could see the truth though your hatred).

What a great post for me to end on for now.

Arafat died in 2004, "Barack" became President in 2005.

So Arafat said "no" to Obama after he died.....LOL

Such a great example of the intellect and mentality of someone who would support Israel's government.

This my friends, is proof. proof!!! That the PLO and Hamas are not interested in a little bit of land. There's only one thing they'll settle for, and that's pushing those filthy Jews into the sea. And lucky for the PLO and Hamas, they have millions of simpatico friends in America's liberal university campuses and at Democratic caucuses to support their call for the anihilation of the Jews. Nothing new here. And from what I read earlier in this thread, these folks with such hatred in their hearts can still still sleep well at night. Nice!

Oh hell.

2000 Camp David Summit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Oh and by the way, Barack Obama became President in 2009.

Barak Ehud was Israeli prime minister in 2000. And Arafat was alive.

Anybody that really wants to know how brutal and mean the government of Israel is to Palestinians should join the twitter feed of two American Jewish journalists, Glenn Greenwald and Max Blumenthal.

Max is fluent in Hebrew. You don't hear 1/100th of the brutality these right wing Jews level on Palestinians on a daily basis.

So? Why should people listen to tutu who has basically destroyed a country with his Marxist socialist dogma? Terror reigns in the South African heartland because of this clown.....

Ummm, this is a discussion forum is it not? I realize that in the progressive liberal world discussion is frowned upon....

And you don't hear about the daily rocket attacks against Israeli civilians either....

You don't hear about the number of palestinians killed crossing into Israel bent on killing Israeli women and children either....

And he stands with religious nuts who take their delusions from 19th century anti-Semitic Czarist forgeries. You have all the credibility of a birther. There are a handful of Jews in the Middle East. They're not going to accept rule by Muslim KKK wannabees and they're not going anywhere.

Get over it.

It's his country. The people before him nearly destroyed it with Apartheid. But that's neither here nor there....the point is that regardless of what you think about his politics (personally, i don't think you have a clue), he has a right to speak on the Palestinian question.

And yea...it's a discussion. Which begs the question as to why you have a problem with HIM wanting to have a discussion, yet you have no problems wanting to have discussions yourself. You can call for a discussion, but he can't?

Now i wonder why that is.
