Let's say you go down to the gun store, see a sweet piece on display, and decide: That's the gun I want. Except to buy it, you need to drive home, wait three days, and then come back?
Or what if in order to buy a gun, the gun shop owner had to wrap you up in body armor and unload a clip into you, just so you were sure you knew what you were getting into?
Quesiton 1, well, if you really wanted the gun...and depending on the state..you may have to wait...
So you'd describe forcing someone to undergo unnecessary physical discomfort for no reason as "pretty ignorant?" Would you think it was an attempt to infringe on your 2nd Amendment rights by making the process as burdensome and uncomfortable as possible?

Most people would call that a troll.
What does "provocatively based" even mean? And it's not just to see what the reaction is going to be. Have faith & contribute to the discussion or get out...

What if you had to wait 3 days to pick up your new car?
A new TV?
A baseball bat?
A new Smart Phone?
A gallon of milk?
Seems pretty stupid doesn't it? How is this any different?
Should you have to be run over by the car first to take delivery?
Beat with the baseball bat?
Forced to watch 3 days of commercials before you can take your TV home?
Pay for 2 years of lousy service with the smart phone first (ok...so this isn't so far fetched)
72 hours. So what? If you need a gun immediately then you should probably be at the Police Station not a gun store.
And yet the NRA and other gun rights orgs have fought tooth and nail to stop any attempt to impose any waiting period.
