The puter has spit it out. It is all of course evil humans fault for using water. We should leave it all alone and starve and die. Maybe one day you humans will figure out to just kill yourselves and save mother earth.

"A team led by Yadu Pokhrel of the University of Tokyo insist that the answer lies in water that is extracted from underground aquifers, rivers and lakes for human development but is never replenished. The water ultimately makes it to the ocean through rivers and evaporation in the soil, they note."

Well they will call for a ban soon on flushing toilets as that sends the water swirling to the river and down to the ocean. Of course the methane released from all the poop piling up will cause warming too. Any way you look at it we're doomed it appears. Best bet is to just hang yourself to avoid the impending doom in 4 billion years when the sun explodes.

Which Democrat is going to be first one to draft a bill in Congress to stop this?

Chuck Schumer? I would think Nancy Pelosi would be all over this.

Whatever the proposal is, it will probably only cost the taxpayers tens of billions of dollars a year.

I'll be watching ( because this bill will be coming ).

Obama has a pen in his pocket.

Maybe Obama will approve the keystone pipeline but use it to pump water back from the ocean into the aquifers. Of course nobody in DC will realize it's saltwater until it's too late!!

Well Obama is middle eastern raised and they are taught to wipe their butts with their left hand so no need to flush so I guess he's not contributing as much as all the rest of us. He gets an A on his carbon footprint in the ocean rising category after this report I bet. lol

Barack said people will be able to tell their children that his election day would be the moment when the oceans stopped rising.
