You are speaking of a "child", I am talking of adults. As for "always" has a position of power, I disagree. There were kids I knew growing up that had no such "parent/child" relationship and the position of "power" was non-existent. There were also some I knew who had a reversed role as the child took on responsibility that the parent lacked.
The problem I have with your argument is it operates using assumptions of extremes (absolute generalizations). There may be a general occurrence to your position, but to claim "always" as you do is unfounded and an invalid premise. There are outliers that conflict with your scenario.
So, it appears that you are attempting to condition the discussion, refusing to accept that point so as to avoid dealing with the conflict of your initial premise concerning consenting adults.
For the sake of clarification, let us say that there is no such hold on the relationship to which you speak, are you then accepting of sexual relations between them? Is your objection the only contingency here or are there other ones to which you are unwilling to point out due to the issues of conflict with your earlier statement?

Let us push that aside though and say that "almost always" is correct. That means "some" are not as you say. So, for those that do not fit such, do you then find it acceptable? Let me state that again. According to your objection and position, the only reason you object to two adults having an incestuously relationship is because the relationship between them is "almost always" the case as you explained. So, when it is not, you do not object to their incestuous relationship?
