After following this site for a number of years, on one hand it's entertaining, on the other depressing. Whenever Obama is attacked on an issue, first liberals try defending the issue rationally. When they realize they have nothing really to support his issues based on reason, they end up resorting to "you're racist" and storm off in a snit.
Yet we have Allen West. A man of integrity, that actually tells the truth that attacks both parties policies where applicable. Someone that doesn't just pander to the crowd and chant mindless slogans (Hope and Change anyone?). Someone that can actually have an intelligent conversation without a teleprompter. Yet whenever they disagree with his message, liberals attack him in the most vile, disgusting terms imaginable. And never even try to discuss his policies.
Why is it that the most vile racists on this site seem to be of a liberal bent? Why are they unable to debate in a reasonable, polite manner, without resorting to racist name calling, best left in the 1950s? When will liberals actually judge a man by the content of his character, and leave his race out of it?
You have a very fundamental misunderstanding of how our government works.
Obama is the chief executive. He has policies.
West is one of 435 votes in the house. He has almost no influence on policy. More than likely, he votes however Boner tells him to on any issue, and that's the extent of his "policies." He does as he's told. And as a freshman teabag congressman, his influence on policy is probably among the least of anyone in DC.
However, West does show a proclivity for making foolish, inaccurate, and hateful public statements. And he regularly gets his mouth slapped for doing so. As he should.
Anyone (West included) in a highly visible public position who makes ignorant hateful divisive statements into a microphone can expect to be cheered by the extremists on his side and slagged by everyone else. And that's exactly what's happened.
Either on his own or at the urging of his fellow teabaggers, West is purposely spewing hatred. And he's an adult who recognizes how the game is played.
I didn't make a racist comment about West. I said that he's an Uncle Tom. That's because he is. How is that racist. We share the same race.
Outside or a racial reference or a relative named Tom, when is the term "Uncle Tom" used? Are other races Unacle Toms? Spin as much as you will, you used a derogatory racial term and now try to deny it.

This is the internet, please share when people are/have been called racist for disagreeing with an Obama policy and not when they're actually being racist. I'm not saying it never happens but if it happens, it's extremely rare.
