That's irrelevent.

Our forefathers established this country to be free of religious influence, at the state and federal levels; seperation of religion and state.

Our forefathers put aside their own personal beliefs, for what they felt was an important and significant aspect to building a Free Country.....America. They made that very clear in all the most important documents they wrote for this country.

Many of them believed in values and qualities that are now perceived as "Christian " values and they worked that in. But they did NOT want religious people of any religion hi-jacking this country at any level and proclaiming it their own.

Furthermore, "Christian" values are values that many human beings held in their hearts and intellect, long before there was ever such a thing as "Christianity". Decency, love and modesty/humility need not be annointed an exclusive values to one religion. They are human qualities and values, which live in the heart and intellect of decent, good-hearted human beings.

Nonetheless, by inserting "under god" they violated the intent of our forefathers.

I personally believe there is some kind of spiritual God and I believe Jesus was an important spirtual entity. But I don't believe the Bible (which was written by human beings) reflects the true nature and intentions of the God or entity of the spiritual universe/universes. The Bible gets a few basic values correct, but it gets so much wrong and inspires so much hate.

Have we killed anyone lately for working on Sunday (the sabbath)?

More accurately, our country was hi-jacked by Christians who annoited themselves righteous and violated the laws and policies established by our forefathers.

That depends on how far back you wish to go, whose forefathers you are speaking of, and also how far you want to stretch the definition of Christianity.

Correction, several of our forefathers were Christian. Not all of them were. Seevral were not.

But that's irrelevent.

You seem to have a poor grasp of understanding on what our forefathers wrote and intended for our great America. You may want to read all of the important and significant documents they wrote for us.

P.S. Stop slapping your head, you'll give yourself a concussion.

Correct.

Even all the forefathers who were involved in creating The Constitiution were not all Christians. Many were, some were not. It's obvious AANYC lacks the fundamental understanding of The Constitution and all of other American documents.

Well said. Given that there are numerous versions of Christianity alone, which allows for several different interpretations, I believe that the Bible can be, and in fact was twisted in some ways by man to suit his agenda. Inspired by God, yes. Written by man, and twisted, Oh HELL YEAH!
