You would think that a peace president would be able to end a useless war after 3.5 years. But no, he has become a war monger. Wasting American lives and tax payer funds.
We are years past due when we should have exited this useless war.
I'm always against all wars, but where were you when Bush started these wars and got us so entrenched in them?
Didn't hear you then.
It is indeed time we get OUT of there. Not sure we should have ever been there. Wish I could find the quotes from former Hawaiian Congressman Charles Djou where he spoke of the schools and I think he said police stations? or military facilities of the Afghanistan forces that our guys have built over there.
I remember being relieved that like in Iraq, we have built things instead of just destroyed things in both countries.
Here's a wonderful report about our Marines distributing the best household, solar lights to 7,000 families in Afghanistan, a country where a huge majority of families live totally off-grid. *(over ninety percent, as I recall.) Hopefully, they were able to do this more than the one time.
The POTUS had to take over for Bush because he didn't do his job in Afghanistan. You cannot deny that!
YES you can deny the reality of your statement. Going into Afghanistan was a deflection away from the real problem of dealing with pricks who harmed America on 9 11. Pakistan and those bastards in Saudi Arabia who financed acts of terror should have been dealt with sternly- Intelligence was aware of who was MAKING it happen- and it was not a bunch of dope growing goat herders in Afghanistan.
There was no political will or courage to take down your oil trading buddies - who were stabbing America in the back while taking their money and blood.
