The GOP has a coming civil war after Obama crushes mitt because of just this kind of hate coming from the right/tea party that has taking over the GOP. The GOP has to rid itself of these kind of people and start over with their best ideas if they want to survive.

Have you ever stopped?

You know this already, but I will repeat it:

Generic name-calling, even calling Bush stupid or a smirking chimp, is not using a racist epithet. The reason for that is that "stupid" and "smirking chimp" are not well-known racist epithets for white people.

"Monkey" is a well-known racist epithet for black people. Everyone who calls President Obama a monkey knows that. In fact, that is why they are doing it.

So yes, calling President Obama a monkey means that you are a racist. Condoning it or excusing it also means that you are a racist.

Let's see,

1) The hosts comment about Pres. Obama is pretty vile and definitely racist.
2) Her audience is small, it's freaking AM radio in AZ.

So, this confirms 2 things I already knew. There are some racists out there that hate Obama....and there are some racists or political opportunists that will try to paint people like this rotten old lady as representative of all opposition.

Neither are beneficial to this country.

P.S. You can't compare the Bush monkey references to Obama's....it holds different weight when applied to AA's.

Yes, I'll condemn Miss Hair on Fire's words. She shouldn't have said that about the President. But the left shouldn't have called W Bush a chimp either. Just because it's maybe not racist doesn't get the left off the hook. It was disrespectful and despicable how the left treated W Bush. We should respect the President.

Following along the logic of 'Frugality,' if you fail to condemn the Bush-haters when they dissed Bush, you in effect show your support for Miss HairOnFire. Quite a few lefty supporters for Miss Hair in this thread, n'est ce pas?

Not true at all.

But let me see if I understand your position. Calling Bush a monkey is OK. But calling Obama a monkey is not. Do I have it right?

So, tell me the rest of your rules. What derogatory names can we call Obama with your approval?

This is America. Feel free to change stations.

P.S. I thought the correct term was 'porch monkey'.

You beat me to it!

Note to the OP, some people are just morons! The best you can do is not give them the attention that they crave! Dale is right. Turn the damn channel!
