They're nothing but a way of control over women by controlling men.

But remember that wearing burqa/niqab is not mandatory for any Muslims according to their religion.
If we banned wearing the hijab (head scarf) then it would be against the constitution.
What about freedom of expression?

Obviously, we don't have enough government in our bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. We need the government in our closets as well.

And instead of just banning the burka, women should be banned from wearing any clothing at all. Just imagine what women could conceal under all the various types of garments they are currently allowed to wear.

Danger lurks at each and every curve.

Too much freedom is much too scary

The majority of women who wear burqa/niqab (face covering) are forced to wear it. Very few women choose to wear it. I heard by some women that they have been told they will burn in hellfire if they do not cover themselves from top to bottom.

This. Beyond security checks, let 'em wear whatever.

The original intent of this attire was to keep blowing sand off of women's skin, face, and hair in the desert. From my understanding, it's not religious at all.

I don't care what anyone wears.

So you are for the majority of women being forced to wear burqas? I saw one yesterday in the 100 degree heat and humidity, while the men wore T-shirts and shorts!

How is banning it any different from enforcing it?

That's exactly what I said right? Word-for-word I said "women should be forced to wear burqas", yes?

Oh wait, you're delusional. I never, ever said they should be forced to wear burqas. I said "let 'em wear whatever." As in "if they want to wear them, let them. If they don't, let them."
