As a liberal, I fully support this idea. All 25 states that sued ObamaKare should opt out of it NOW! In fact, I wish they would opt out of Medicare and Medicaid too. The Court said they can. Of course they cannot opt out of paying Federal taxes and that will only mean more benefits to the states that stay in. Think of it like this: you got 50 people paying for something that only 25 are using. Who reaps the benefit?

Should we also make the justices who voted against put down their gavels?? Jesus I thought this country was based on freedoms. You can be liberal but chastising someone for their beliefs by threatening to "turn" them off" sounds pretty communist. You are vengeful. Not a good quality

I'm really hoping that my state does opt out -- and I'm a stone's throw from a state that might not opt out so that would really open up my choices. I could then drop my health insurance, save a lot of money by not paying premiums and then just cross the state line and get Obamacare only if I or a family member gets sick.

I hope Texas rejects it. We've rejected extra Fed funds in the past and ended up OK.

You dont at all understand what is involved because Obamacare is a TAX, not some windfall of services and benefits. Obamacare provides NOTHING to the consumer for free.

Florida and Louisiana are already announcing that they're refusing to implement the new law. Fine. That'll mean more cash for those of us in states like California and New York.

Oh yeah. I'm sure the doctors of Texas won't mind receiving lower reimbursements than doctors in other states.

And you can expect to pay more for the health care tourism -- it won't be just illegals from Mexico and Central America coming to get in on the health care that your taxpayers offer. It can be tourists from opt out states as well. You'd better start saving some money because you're going to have a lot to pay.
