There is no evidence that either Stanley Ann Dunham Obama or Barack Obama, Sr. left the US at any time around Obama's birth. Obama, Sr. went on to Harvard and did not leave the US until August 1964. The story is less than it seems to the conspiracists.

Both Columbia, Harvard and the bar association take a dim view of non-earned credentials. We've had more than enough time for any of the three to take umbrage over a person falsely claiming to be a graduate. So other than that, I'm not feeling your concerns.

You read the title right. Obama's college classmate is saying Obama went to Columbia as a foreign student and that is why he isn't releasing his grades to anyone. I believe this to be true. He is advising team Romney to put Obama on the defensive and make him release his college admissions as Donald Trump and talk show host have been suggesting to Romney. I believe this will happen soon.
