I guess that unlike the Republicans, Liberals will not accept a half-assed program. Since Republicans are always so controlling that to get anything done need to give Republicans more of what they want (which is mainly wrong and hurtful to the economy) as a basis to start things and then fix it from there. Although, msot of the programs that get fixed are Republican ones.

I hope that you can understand this.

The premise of this thread, namely that if something needs reform or adjustment, it must mean it's a bad idea, just might be the screwiest piece of logic I've witnessed since the last time I stumbled onto Glenn Beck's show while roaming the dial.

I was just thinking the same thing. But this is how today's conservatives think. They're just cranks about everything.

Why aren't we all driving model A Fords? They worked, no need to improve them.

How about this: The game of basketball stinks because they added the shot clock.

Or it means improving them. But I already know the right-wing answer; simple cut programs that help Americans, oh and sucj up to the rich so maybe they will pass on some of the wealth to the peeons

Oh no the liberal way is much better. Pass a bill and then find out what is in it. That makes perfect sense.......... to a liberal anyway.

For the same reason God invented Evolution to tweak His original Creation and get it like He wanted it.

Situations change. Only an idiot would ride a horse off a cliff just because he didn't want to veer off his original path.
