There is no causation as you suggest. And even more problematic in what you say is the fact that you absent from men any agency. They are poor little victims who can only react and never act. Playing the victim card is pretty pathetic. No woman forces a man to be a misogynist. Men choose to be misogynistic. You are choosing to be misogynistic. Such men need to grow a pair and recognize how THEIR choices in life have led them to where they are. It wasn't the fault of some woman, no matter how much these men want to play the victim.

Proud to be one too. And it's funny that you people play the victim card more than men. There's are many ways that causes humans become misogynistic.

Kobe's wife is just another typical example of females. Of course you people admire and adore her.

Refreshing that you admit it. Pathetic too, but nevertheless refreshing.

Uh huh. Of course that is what a misogynist would say.

Ignorance and a persecution complex.

We do? And you base that on what exactly? And your self-induced persecution complex doesn't count as evidence.

Actually, he never even had to go to trial because once they actually investigated the offense he was one of three different guys semen found in her from the previous 48hours. Kinda wrecked the case....

Quite frankly, people in this thread are the most grossly informed posters...oh wait...this is political....carry on as normal.

Your hatred for women is both palpable and pathetic.
You either have early onset dementia....

Or you never learned the actual facts of the case.

I'm 50/50 on which is which at this point.

Always happy to educate the ignorant:

"Kobe Bryant and the 20-year-old woman who accused him of rape nearly two years ago settled her civil lawsuit against him yesterday, ending a case that tarnished one of the NBA's brightest young stars. Terms weren't released. A statement by Bryant's attorneys said the matter had been resolved "to the satisfaction of both parties. The parties and their attorneys have agreed that no further comments about the matter can or will be made," the statement said."

Even though Kobe is innocent until proven guilty, and will never BE proven guilty because his accuser's name managed to conveniently be leaked to the press, causing her to drop the charges, well. . . .

His sleazy female 17th St. lawyer defended another athlete-rapist recently and the guy got life in prison, LOL! The accuser was a minor so I guess they didn't try that convenient leak again.
I respect you a lot more than the other posters here. I would encourage you to go read up on the actual facts surrounding the case.

P.S. I generally dislike Kobe and am no Laker fan.

You mean the schizophrenic that went up to his room and then showed up to the rape test with non-kobe semen in her?

Funny. Seems as if there would have been no reason to offer her a settlement in a civil case. One would think that he would have sued her in fact. Hmmmm, so strange.

Sorry to have embarrassed you with the fact of a settlement having occured. I'm sure other posters don't think less of you for having been wrong.

Thanks for the compliment. I live in Colorado. The Eagle County prosecutor thought he had enough evidence to prosecute. Then the accuser's name got leaked. How convenient. Kobe actually admitted to having sex with his accuser, but said it was "consensual".

Timeline of Kobe Bryant's sexual assault case | Deseret News

July 18: District Attorney Mark Hurlbert files single count of felony sexual assault. Bryant says he committed adultery but is innocent of assault.

March 1-2, 2004: Defense attorneys say accuser had sex with someone else less than 15 hours after her alleged assault. Her attorney denies the claim.
