I always thought that Rush Limbaugh was one of the finest minds ever to take up the mantle of Republican Spokesperson. His insightful, well thought out perception of political reality was always refreshing and uplifting. I applaud him for taking the hard look at current political challenges as stridently as he has and having the cajones to tell it like it is. Hat's off, Rush.
Dang! That is the best snark I've read here in over a week!
Excellent!
Rush said Romney is not conservative. Can you admit that without spinning it into "he's not the ideal choice"
This is just sad
No new england ( if you want to call him one) republican will fit the bill of a real conservative. Up here its all about money. The rest of the country can have their bibles.
Old news and irrelevant. He isn't a Marxist/socialist (or a Muslim, as many believe Obama to be). He is loyal to his country (Obama is not), he is respectful of individual accomplishment, is not unfriendly to business, knows how jobs are created and who the job creators are, understands the economics of business (clearly Obama has no clue in this area) ... need I go on?
Ryan is a conservative, and with him on the ticket, I think we have a winning team that will rebuild America and undo the damage that Obama has wrought.
If they win, there will be dancing in the streets of America. And, I predict if they win, that news alone will cause the stock market to spike, and oil prices to drop, because the world knows that Romney/Ryan are American energy production friendly. Obama is not.

Who gives a damn? Rush says what he believes, and he was right, but he is 100% behind this ticket, as I think most conservatives are (except perhaps a few Paulbots, who would risk Obama being re-elected to vote for Ron Paul, which, in my opinion, is just plain stupidity).
Your little trick here is trying to pit conservatives against other Republicans. I noticed the same thing in the debates and the coverage leading up to the primaries in the media. Since Romney is the candidate the focus of all Republicans needs to be defeating Obama. Romney may not be the ideal choice for many of them but he's heads above Obama and that should be their only concern at this point.
There is no "ideal candidate" (one who would satisfy everyone); but this is a great ticket, and they have the right message.
Americans have seen what Obama has done, and it has been a disaster. Four more years of the same would be intolerable. We simply must turn this bus around!
ObamaCare adds thousands of dollars of new taxes on every man woman and child, devestates our health care system, and is leading to doctors saying they will retire and end their practices. Read "doctor shortage."
I can't think of a reason in the world why anyone would have any desire to enter the practice under the circumstances that ObamaCare forces on medical professionals. The doctor/patient relationship is compromised, and becomes the government/patient/doctor relationship, with the government bureaucrats playing the largest role in the care of the patient, and the doctor the smallest role. The doctors are not paid enough to cover their costs now, under ObamaCares Medicare, which has been slashed by $716 B, causing many doctors to refuse to take Medicare patients, and more will follow. You cannot give away services and survive, but that is what the government expects them to do.
Romney may not be a conservative, but he does know where this bus is headed, and knows it isn't headed in the right direction. Ryan, the conservative on the ticket, knows the numbers backwards and forward, and will give Romney the edge.
I like this ticket!

The sad truth is that Republicans will NEVER vote for a true conservative like Ron Paul, because the Republicans themselves are NOT conservative, and Romney is the kind of candidate they like to support: big government, big spending, corporate socialist.
I guess that means we should all vote for Obama then.
By the way, why is Rush still on the air? I though the whole Fluke incident was going to do him in. <laughing>
