“You sponsored legislation that has the language ‘forcible rape,’” Delano noted. “What is forcible rape as opposed…”
“Rape is rape,” Ryan interrupted. “Rape is rape, period. End of story.”
“So that forcible rape language meant nothing to you at the time?” Delano asked.
“Rape is rape and there’s no splitting hairs over rape,” Ryan said.
So, Ryan sponsors stuff and has no idea what adjectives do to other words in a sentence?
He doesn't care about the wording. If rape is rape, why abitrarily define it "forcible."
I mean, from what he had on paper, there's "forcible rape", and then there's "lovingly, tenderly stroking your hair, but I'm still raping you", rapes.
Dont put words in my mouth. There is a difference between statutory rape and rape. A 16 year old could have sex with a 25 year old willingly. You are talking about pedophiles, an entirely different sick matter.

Still rape, rape is rape no matter the degree. Rape is about consent...if you can not, did not or are not of age to give consent, its RAPE. There are different degree's of course, but its still Rape.
"forcible" rape isnt just something some republican made up. This long entry on rape refers to forcible rape several times.
Instead of asking Ryan to define it, why dont you ask the FBI?
Wikipedia nor the authors of Wikipedia are working for the voters. I have a better idea. Why don't you volunteer at a rape crisis center and ask a victim to define the term "forcible".

I agree rape is rape with the exception of older teenagers willingly having sex with people older than 18, which is statutory. Not really anything forced, wrong none the less.
But there have been others that use a term forcible rape, rather than just rape. Look at the wiki entry
