Unfortunately so. Actually, I never heard of this guy during the Clinton administration, even after that stuff with Monica Lewinsky. I think Hank Williams Jr might be racist.

I may like some of his music but hardly look to him for wisdom. The man is known for his many no shows because he was to drunk to take the stage.
The man is a drunk nothing more and nothing less.

So was George Jones, same unreliable rep. It took George many years and several wifes to finally get sober for good. Still, he was able to bring down the house, many ,many times. He was just that good, yet, we can always wonder how things might of turned out as a sober person . I know, I suffered the same way, as a writer It is really too bad many of us creative types fall into the same trap . The entertainers almost all went through this.
