For the democrats : Our national motto is "In God we trust". Separation between church and state does not mean a separation from God. The democrats have become the party of atheists. Our founding father's spoke about our creator. You folks have a choice of which party you want to belong to. Choose carefully.
What are you asking?
It sounds like you just gave a warning but didn't ask anything. Do you have a question?
Should we change our countries motto? In God We Trust isn't our motto, it's freedom. We stand for FREEDOM, NOT GOD. We fight for freedom, we vote for freedom, not GOD. What's your point?
Actually "In God We Trust" was added in the 50s to scare godless Commies. If it were to be removed, it would only be ending about 60 years of history. I assume you knew that.

And that's why they opened their convention with a prayer?
Interesting story about the motto--4 years ago a new Wash. DC Capitol Visitor's center was built at a cost of over $600 million (over $500 million over budget). Among the amenities was the national motto carved in marble--except that they got the motto wrong, and it had to be plastered over. They thought the motto was 'E Pluribus Unum.' I don't know whether it was ever replaced with a marble piece with the correct motto.
