If you do decide to write her a letter, I would strongly encourage you to ask a buddy with a higher education than your own to proofread it, because the language you used in your OP will befuddle someone who is a graduate of Radcliffe, Harvard, and Columbia.

I could also add a note at the bottom of the letter to have someone of lesser educational levels read it so you and the special people in society could understand it. That might be easier as I have no friends let alone someone with a higher education level.
