Wow, something that's never been posted before and argued ad infinitum without any context whatsoever as to what makes up the tax burden in the highest states or any correcting for federal payrolls or facilities.
A note, deep blue Maryland sends $1 in income taxes to DC and receives $1.35.
Irrelevant for many reasons. For starters they list NM as the highest, any idea how many federal facilities are there? A lot.
Lets take another example, the Interstate system. Do you think a state like Nebraska is going to maintain a 700 mile stretch of I-80 for the traffic flowing from San Francisco to NYC?
And yet...blue-state liberals want to keep increasing taxes and to send MORE money to those very same states....thanks guys! Glad ya ain't too bright.
It seems it is the red states that lack personal responsibility and want the government to support them.
