Once again NBC shows us just how anti-American the organization is.....

Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner talked about her breast augmentation on NBC's "Today" show at the same time other news outlets were airing the solemn commemoration of the first plane striking New York's World Trade Center 11 years ago.
they say "their affiliate in NYC showed the ceremony", what about the hundreds of Boston, Washington, and Los Angeles area residents that lost their lives.
Disgusting they ignore a part of American history to broadcast trash (the Kardashians are little more that hookers only I have more respect for hookers).
The New York Post didn't have a 9/11 photo , most of this region is starting to move on.....which is a good thing...healing has started....we should never forget though , but we should stop and freeze every 9/11...
Actually, ignoring important stuff for celebrity trash is a very American thing to do. It's what American media does best. And that's why I tune into the BBC.

Yeah, I think that's pretty much it. I'm as disinterested in the Kardashians as the rest of you, and NOBODY who was around (and above a certain age) on 9/11 will ever forget that day... but do we pause television programming on the anniversary of every tragedy? If so, for how long? It's been 11 years now, and I think since the 10th anniversary passed last year, we'll be seeing fewer & fewer of the memorials/tributes from this point forward. Sad, but inevitable with time.

This what you get when corpoartions and their lust for profit above all else are deified and treated as if they are the reason the country exists. The feigned outrage is laughable.
OMG, they're so anti-American . In my memory of television, I can't remember any media outlet pausing on December 7 to remember Pearl Harbor. Like another poster said, people are beginning to move on, which is only natural with the progression of time. I wonder if network affiliates in Oklahoma City still do anything in remembrance of the OKC bombing every April 19?
