No, I think the real reason they ignored it was because it was just too offensive to the arabs living in the united states. How would they feel? We should be more sympathetic towards them.

WHAT game?

NBC exists to make a profit, if they thought showing Kardshian vomiting would increase their profit more than showing a 9/11 memorial then that's what they'd show.

This wasn't even something important like another staged wedding -- it was the mother's fake boobs that were so all-important to NBC -- and it's idiot viewers.

I think the bigger issue at hand is that the american people are dumb enough for a speculator to believe that would be more profitable.

Move on? The war on terrorism is still being fought.
Attempts to trump the blast at the world trade towers are still being plotted by radical muslims.

In the NYC area at 8:30AM the local NBC station took over and showed the 9/11 ceremony live until it finished just before 12:30PM. It does this every year.
