I think you miss the point. It is about making solar panels and wind turbines here and not China. As far as how much chinese workers make, you would need to ask Romney. He is the expert on outsourcing jobs to China.

How do you propose to do that without a tariff on Chinese made products substantially increasing the cost of an already very expensive product? The Chinese are going all out with green tech so they can sell it to others and they need to prop up their own energy needs for the future. They are also burning as much coal as they can which is the disticnt difference from what we are doing.

Good idea. Tariffs on Chinese products to protect U.S. industry. We agree on something. Obama has already done that on Chinese tires. He is interested in protecting U.S. industry.

Obama is all talk. What he knows about energy would fit on the point if a pin and still have most of the pin point free for other information.

Same goes for you hotair... That's about all you have, hotair... Too bad really... Since i know deep in your heart you mean well.

You just have no idea what a BTU is or what real energy and and or why.

Today is Oct 1st and it snowed a little here in NH today and did last week. This is more than 3 weeks early. There really is no appreciable climate change.

Hacks like Al Gore, and Obama have lied to you and anyone like you, who will believe.....

Then just think! There IS no other energy! None NADA, Nothing!

Obama has deemed all energy as bad.... Obama has claimed CO2 is bad........ I got news for you and him. With no CO2 Earth would be a rock...... a barren rock.

on edit:
Chinese tires????? OMG what junk they are.... Chinese tires are unfit for a pedal bike! 99.999% of chinese crap is exactly that chinese crap......

The fact is that Romney is just out of touch Independent voters.

I doubt most undecided voters will make their decision based on a presidential candidate's belief, or lack of, on global warming.

Actually I don't agree in this case. Energy is a major cost to all business's and we are already placing undo costs on those business's through subsidies and mandates for expensive green energy. By placing a tariff on Chinese products you're even placing more burden on them driving more jobs overseas.

Don't underestimate them, the reason most of the stuff they manufacture is crap is because that is what US consumers buy.

With a handle like coal man. I would suspect a little bias.

Or we could simply ask Obama's Jobs Council chief, GE CEO Jeff Immelt. Hell, we might be able to get some good tax-avoidance tips in the process.

Did you happen to see this?

Anyway, doesn't surprise me. I suspect that one of the reasons these folks are undecided is because neither candidate is addressing this issue along with a host of others.
