There are a lot of us R's that believe otherwise and find statements such as his ridiculous.

Unfortunately, you normal guys are being sucked down by people in your party who keep making such outlandish assertions week after week, month after month, one after the next...

Yes, but if that's the case, then you're not an average Republican. You're considered to be a liberal within your party.

There is a high number of theist physicians. When you move into most all other fields of science, that number plummets.

This idiocy continues entirely because the rational Republicans stay silent.

Now THAT I can believe. The old 'anyone but a democrat' theory isn't all roses. Stupid ideology.

I agree 100%. The silent majority apparently just hopes that the extremists will just go away. Meanwhile, the GOP spirals down a dark hole with increasing damage to its reputation. I wonder how long it will take for rational Republicans to pull the emergency brake.

"Broun, a medical doctor"

How on earth did he become a Medical Doctor if he rejects the theory that the entire foundation of medicine rests on? How can he hand out antibiotics if he rejects evolution? I think the AMA should revoke his license. Clearly someone that ignorant of his own field is not fit to be treating patients.
