The facts are devastating to Obama. He cannot distort them when someone confronts him. Mr. Romney lives by facts.

Facts are a practice necessary to be successful in business.

It is interesting that all we hear is talk about cutting or raising taxes to lower the defecit. What happened to the talk about cutting government (programs and waste both) which are the major contributors to the deficit ?
And would someone please tell me where I can find O's "plan." The last plan I saw from him was the one voted down 99-0 by the senate. Not even one democrat was on board for it.

WTF? That's Orwellian.

Tax cuts have to be "funded?" What does that mean?

That would be like "unfunded reduction in over-time" or something.

What's the message they're trying to send? The money is owed anyway? The money has to be spent no matter what?

Curiously...

The ironic thing is that Obama has repeatedly referred to the Bush tax cuts as "tax cuts that were not paid for," and yet Obama has done nothing but extend the Bush tax cuts. To make it worse, Obama has not budgeted for the Bush tax cuts, because he has never signed a federal budget, all he has done was sign continuing resolutions of the fiscal 2009 spending levels. So, for the last four years, Obama is responsible for four years of "tax cuts that were not paid for." He is such an idiot.

I suggest you read the transcript from the debate.

The repubs have been trying to get cuts in spending for quite a while.
