Well his actions are not in line with his words then because we have given the syrian rebels support and money ($145 million). The petrodollar's existence depends on us staying on top and if we have to oust a dictator to do it then that's what we'll do.
That is what many will never realize. It has been this way since we went off the gold standard and won't change no matter who is in the big chair.
Willard Romney want's to escalate things in Syria, and might delay U.S pullout in Afghanistan.
If you want a republican president, be prepared for more wars, and higher oil prices.
I remember the screams from the Republican party that Prsident Obama was sending arms to militants in Lybia and they could fall into the hands of terrorists or muslim extremists.....
"Members of Congress have expressed anxiety about U.S. government activities in Libya". Some had recalled that weapons provided by the U.S. and Saudis to mujahedeen fighting Soviet occupation forces in Afghanistan in the 1980s later ended up in the hands of anti-American militants.
There are fears that the same thing could happen in Libya unless the U.S. is sure who it is dealing with. The chairman of the House intelligence committee, Rep. Mike Rogers, said when he opposed supplying arms to the Libyan rebels fighting Gaddafi.............. Yet Romney wants to send all kinds of arms to Syria.
Worries that sophisticated weapons could make their way to the wrong kind of Syrian rebels are one reason Washington remains wary of deeper US involvement in the fighting.
"We need to understand more about the opposition before I would support passing out guns and advanced weapons to them," Mike Rogers said in a statement
So when Obama sent arms to the militant's in Lybia it was wrong in the eyes of many Republican's but Romney sending arms to militant's in Syria is OK................. Seems politics is the factor behind Romney's remarks and NOT concern about Syrians....... Either the right must uphold their earlier remarks about the dangers of arms falling into the wrong hands or shut up, even though hypocricy is the thread running through the Romney campaign.

So Do I. But, this is different, it's ok for republicans to do this but not a democrat, isn't that what they call hypocrisy?

At least Romney is telling us up front what his plan is. I seem to remember Obama saying he would pull troops out of Afghanistan...
