Okay. Can the anti-tax slogans and all that crap: you're gonna get taxed by the feds no matter what, whether you want to or not... that'll never change.

Let's say that you're in a voting booth and you have to select one of the following:

- I want my tax dollars to go towards funding an abortion for a 12-year old girl who was a victim of incest and rape and absolutely does not want to give birth;

- I want my tax dollars to go towards dropping a bomb on an apartment building in Tehran filled with school-aged children and their mothers.

Which would you pick?

I would rather have my tax dollars support a woman's right to choose. That does not necessarily equal an abortion.

What if the war is a retaliation for something like Pearl Harbor? The abortion argument does not boil down to the incredible rare cases of teenagers that are raped.

The poll is less than impressive.

Americans don't vote for wars, or even specific issues. We vote for representation that we think will do a better job. Then they govern. This isn't a direct democracy, and California shows why they don't work in large numbers.

Would you rather have your tax dollars support an abortion, or a war?

Neither. Silly poll.

Childish silly poll but yes I'd rather have tax dollars spent on defense than having innocent babies killed. Nothing sicker than mothers conceiving babies only to kill them.
