Wal-Mart limits employees' weekly hours and pays very low wages while at the same advising their workers to go on welfare. They are a cancer and a terrible employer. I hope this grows world-wide, if it hasn't already. The conditions in China are disgraceful.
Isn't sad that in this day and age, another American thinks this about his fellow Americans? I think the mentality behind this post speaks volumes to what is really wrong.
Where is the IWW. We need to organize WM and then all the rest of the Big Boxes. Then we will start to improve the pay and benefits for the lowest paid of our workers. After that we Organize the US we will organize China!

Workers of the World Unite! Solidarnash!
I am all for "organizing" as long as these employers have free reign to fire anyone they want for whatever reason.

It happens to be 100% true.
Oh, would you rather me praise the American exceptionalism, even if it doesn't exist in this instance? I forgot, we're not supposed to be honest in this country because it might hurt someone's feel-bads.
Fact: If your "career" is one of these no-skill Wal-Mart jobs, you made a whole ARRAY of bad life decisions that led you to that point, and basically deserve whatever criticisms are leveled against you on that front.

My fault, you said that you could train animals to do worker's jobs at Walmart. Which jobs would these be and which animals (snicker) could you train to do that for a 4-8 hour shift?

Ever hear of the saying "until you walk a mile in someone elses shoes..."?
Exactly right. I never shop at Walmart. It's great that employees are taking action against this anti-labor corp. Fully support them.
So do you shop at or buy from
Kroger
Giant Eagle
Radio Shack
Best Buy
Big Yum Brands (taco bell, kfc, etc)
Mcdonalds,
Apple Stores or Apple products
Mom and Pop Grocery
Smithville
Johnsonville brands
Oscar Myer
Kellogs
I mean seriously, if you boycot every company that pays a small salaries to the unskilled workforce your only alternative is to grow your own food.
I just find it funny and ironic that these people blast wal-mart and then turn around and hand their money to another store worker who makes no more/no better benfits than wal-mart. And that person pats themselves on the back. Job well done.
