DC - thank you for the correction. I did indeed mean privatizing profits and socializing loss.
BTW - I am a proponent of government ownership of natural monopolies and resources. That makes me a socialist and I can say Mr. Obama is certainly not.
If you understood the definition of those two systems, you wouldn't be so puzzled and pained.

He has also repeatedly made communist-type speeches, like "spreading the wealth around" and "you didn't build that." Obama has also been on record before becoming president talking about the need for government ran media and a government ran business and banking sector. 1995 Video of Barack Obama Talking About Collectivism and American History Resurfaces | Video | TheBlaze.com I have even heard liberals say we would be better off losing some rights. I heard one Obama supporter on a Facebook group recently say she wanted to shut down the Tea Party(a 1st Amendment recognized group). Not to mention he is pals with people like Sandra Fluke who wants to see the 1st Amendment right to religious freedom violated to provide free contraception to women.

He supports massive gun control and doesn’t believe the 2nd Amendment is an individual right.

No, that is your perception. Obama is rich. Warren Buffet is rich. Bill Gates is rich. And they all agree, that reducing burden (not increasing them) on the poor is the proper way, to expand the middle class and make it stronger is the right way to a prosperous America which benefits EVERYBODY, including rich folks like themselves.
But then, perceptions seem to define your way of life and choices you make. It is why, I don't think you'd even touch explaining communism and socialism, as your abilities are limited to simply name-calling.
The least you could do is strive for a bit of self-respect.
No, the rich pay the most in taxes. While there are poor who didn't chose that lifestyle and would like to move beyond it, there are those who just live off the system because they think the government owes them something. Check this out:
If Obama is a socialist or a communist, he does not need to be re-elected. I voted for Obama in 2008 but I have no plans to vote for him again. I have googled this and have found no real answers. There is a very simple solution to this problem: JUST VOTE THE GUY OUT!!
Unfortunately, the other option is far far worse. Had you guys actually put a decent Republican candidate up against Obama, I might be more inclined to cross party lines. But you didn't. I will not vote for a religious nut job who calls half the country worthless, thinks women should be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, wants to ban gays from ever getting married, whines about poor people not paying taxes, while he pays less taxes on hundreds of millions of dollars than poor people pay on 20 thousand, and who wants to start a war with Iran.
