The amazing part is what party most of those who don't understand what you say vote for. No wonder they don't understand when they fear that the GOP will wipe out all that good welfare.

Bob, You just don't get that opposition to ineffectual leadership, does not mean uncaring joy at other's plight. This conservative does hope that with each passing month of stall-level economic growth, that some more progressives will get that Mr Obama is not a particularly effective leader, when the deck is not stacked in his favor.

Green inititative; full fo bankruptcies, cronyism, (Gore and Kaiser as examples),costing tax payers trillions, and actual job losses

The auto bailouts; Again cost billions of taxpayers dollars. Don't let one loud voice, the bailout czar himself, Rattner, convince you that an effective and, respected by the banks, President could not have used his influence and bully pulpit to loosen banks grip on Chapter 11 funding. The cost would have been right-sizing of union's influence and thus a more competitive cost structure. Bond holders would not have gotten sent to the back of the line, contrary to decades of practice in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The bulk of the stimulus was pushed to states, to forestall the inevitable, rifs and stagnant wages. Once the well ran dry, they happened. So, he delayed the pain, actually forestalling the recovery. Surely, your mother taught you about taking your medicine to get well sooner; and not get much sicker.

International relations: A Putin, whose body language at their last meeting, spoke of disdain for Mr Obama. The Arab spring that is now spinning out of control. A coverup, denial at best, about miscalulations and neutralization-not really, of Al Qaeda. Benghazigate.

Inability to build relationships with the Republican leadership, and thus he was a major contributor to the 2011 debt ceiling crisis, and the grand bargain. Don't take my word for it, read - not selectively - Bob Woodruff's, The Price of Politics. It is all there. Mr Obama's overreach, then petulant, sullen and pouting behavior that torpedoed what could have been progress in our mutual battle to reign in spending, and a move toward a solution for debt and deficits, under his watch.

Debt and deficits: Well chronicled, and no, W is no longer President, hasn't been for four years

This "jobless claims jump" was created by a reporting delay which caused last week's number to be too low.

"Last week, California reported a large drop in applications, pushing down the overall figure to the lowest since February 2008. This week, it reported a significant increase as it processed applications delayed from the previous week.
A department spokesman says the seasonally adjusted numbers "are being distorted ... by an issue of timing."

You realize that just because you believe a lie and repeat it ad nausea does not make it true right ? I could scream all day everyday the moon is made of cheese and we should land on the sun, just because I say it does not mean it is true. Go back to your bridge !

When the GOP leaders in Nov 2008, established their goal of preventing anything they could possibly prevent, they set forth to do that by action and deed. I take them at their word.

Better wording as far as the election would be "bad news for Obama."

There were many who claimed the numbers were manipulated to begin with. I for one would be surprised if they in fact were not manipulated.
