You did not watch it , did you? These men invested large sums of their own money to build pipe lines, railroads and roads. they built businesses that created thousands of jobs. All void of government/funding help!

Comparisons to Obama has nothing to do with the historical people mentioned. At least when the robber barons died there was a railroad or oil company left behind. Todays uber wealthiest move money around in hedge funds usually creating NOTHING.

Most of them had one thing in common, they were poor as hell growing up and many had to quit school to help support the family. This is what drove their ambition to do well in life and become wealthy. Not like todays entitlement mind set who are born poor and remain that way their whole life because Uncle Sam provides them with everything they need and they are quite satisfied to remain poor and on the government dole.
